Training for the 2025 Village Development Data Updating (Podes) Officers

BPS (Statistics Indonesia) of Mimika Regency conducted a training session for enumerators of the 2025 Village Development Data Updating (Podes), attended by selected field officers and statistical partners. This activity is a vital part of the preparation for Podes 2025, which serves as one of the main data sources on the condition and development of the smallest administrative units in Indonesia—villages and sub-districts.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and capacity in collecting accurate and complete data according to official guidelines. The materials covered include key Podes indicators, questionnaire filling procedures, and hands-on practice with digital interview techniques.

Podes 2025 plays a strategic role in supporting both national and regional development policies. It also contributes to preparations for the 2026 Economic Census and other planning efforts based on micro-regional data.
